The Honda Althea team was formed when Salvatore Giorlandino (Team Director) and Massimo Tulli (Team Technical Director) met Genesio Bevilacqua, owner and founder of 'Cerimica Althea' a market leader in Italian and International bathroom fittings. In the 2009 season the Honda Althea will continue its collaboration with Honda, competing in the World Supersport Championship with Aussie Mark Aitchison and Frenchman Mathieu Lagrive. The team will also compete in the World Superbike category with English rider Tommy Hill.
